Theresa at the Legislature

After completing work on her BA at UVic, Theresa began working in the legislature for MLA Gordon Wilson. As a Legislative Assistant, she was responsible for research for the legislative session, including compiling information on issues, ministries, and legislation.

Over a number of years, Theresa researched many diverse issues, including aboriginal and constitutional issues, arranged schedules for Gordon and staff, and edited many papers. Her research work in aboriginal, underprivileged and constitutional issues captured her interest and eventually led Theresa to return to UVic as a law student.
