The early years

Theresa was born on November 21, 1972 in Murrayville, B.C. (Langley). From the moment she arrived, she radiated a smiling face (and wild hair) to everyone around her.

About 18 months later, her brother, Michael, was born. This presented a dilemna for Theresa, as now she could not nap in case she missed out on an important happening.

Theresa always kept Michael close at hand.

The family moved to Prince George in late 1975, where Theresa was first introduced to her love of nature, which grew as the years went by. Theresa was always very active, participating in piano, flute, drama and swimming. Her greatest passions included reading and organizing events, and particularly organizing people.

Later, when Theresa was in grade nine, the family moved to Terrace, where her interests began to expand and her energy level to challenge injustice began to flourish.
